Every $150 buys a new wheelchair and changes the life of an entire family.

Since going on my first distribution trip to Mexico in 2005, I realized that there were millions of people that did not have the ability to freely move around. Whether Polio, landmines, amputations or birth defects - they became invisible, trapped in their homes, unable to attend school, work, or just be part of a community.

Chair the Love has provided a way that everyone can help, either with a wheelchair at a time, or with a monthly pledge, or a more considerable sum to help even more people.

At $150 per chair, a brand new rugged chair is provided where the need is greatest, whether in a nearby school or hospital in the US, or internationally, in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Belize, San Salvador, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Ecuador, Peru and the Philippines. New countries are being added each year as we build our distribution and partnership channels.

Our goal is big - enough to purchase and deliver an entire container of wheelchairs, that is 280 chairs. I have no doubt that we together can celebrate the blessing of mobility that most of us have, and generously pass it on to others.
