Itinerary Overview
Day One
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, with an arranged transfer to Legendary Lodge.
- Settle into your luxurious accommodations and enjoy the spa.
- Evening welcome dinner and briefing about the adventure ahead.
Day Two:
- Breakfast at Legendary, then depart for ChemChem Lodge.
- Meet local leaders to discuss wheelchair distribution plans.
- Relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Day Three:
- Experience a special wilderness breakfast.
- Prepare supplies for distribution and engage with community members during a large-scale event.
- Enjoy an afternoon safari in the Wildlife Corridor.
Day Four:
- Pre-breakfast walk with Maasai Warriors.
- Conduct door-to-door distributions in target villages and share personal connections with community members.
- Return to ChemChem for dinner and reflections on the day.
Day Five:
- Breakfast at ChemChem, then fly to Mwiba in the South Serengeti.
- Afternoon safari followed by relaxation before dinner.
Day Six:
- Optional balloon ride over the Serengeti.
- Engage in community wheelchair distribution, possibly at local schools or health centers.
- Evening dinner to discuss the day’s experiences.
Day Seven:
- Breakfast at Mwiba, then fly back to Legendary Lodge.
- Enjoy leisure time at a coffee plantation with optional activities like spa treatments or guided nature walks.
- Shop for beautiful handcrafted art pieces and share reflections at a farewell dinner.
Day Eight:
- Breakfast at Legendary, check-out, and prepare for departure.
- Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your journey home (consider a stopover in Europe to break up the trip).
Note: The itinerary is flexible and may be adjusted based on weather and distribution needs. This is our second trip to ChemChem Lodge, and last year’s experience was truly amazing!
