Throughout this 12-day experience, participants will take part in six wheelchair distributions across Luzon and Mindanao, working directly with families and local partners in:

• Subic / Bataan
• Laguna
• Manila
• Gingoog City
• Talisayan
• Iligan City

These meaningful service days are the heart of Chair the Love—creating human connection, restoring independence, and transforming lives.

Beyond the humanitarian work, the journey offers cultural immersion, local experiences, and time to build deep connections within our travel team.

📅 Day-by-Day Itinerary

Philippines Humanitarian Journey | April 7–18, 2026

Day 1 – Tuesday, April 7 | Arrival in Manila

Participants should arrive in Manila, Philippines, flying into Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL). This is arrival day for all travelers. Airport transfers and hotel check-in.
Overnight in Manila.

Day 2 – Wednesday, April 8 | Travel to Subic

After breakfast, the group will travel by private transportation from Manila to Subic (approximately 2 hours).
Overnight in Subic.

Day 3 – Thursday, April 9 | 1st Wheelchair Distribution – Subic / Bataan

Our first distribution day will take place in the Subic/Bataan region. Participants will work hands-on assembling and fitting wheelchairs, meeting recipients and their families.
Overnight in Subic.

Day 4 – Friday, April 10 | Travel to Laguna

Travel by ground transportation from Subic to Laguna (approximately 5 hours).
Overnight in Laguna.

Day 5 – Saturday, April 11 | 2nd Wheelchair Distribution – Laguna

Our second distribution will take place in Laguna, serving local community members in need of mobility assistance.
Overnight in Laguna.

Day 6 – Sunday, April 12 | Return to Manila

Travel from Laguna back to Manila. Afternoon for rest, team reflection, or light sightseeing depending on arrival time.
Overnight in Manila.

Day 7 – Monday, April 13 | 3rd Wheelchair Distribution – Manila

Our third distribution will be held in Manila, continuing our mission of restoring mobility and hope.
Overnight in Manila.

Day 8 – Tuesday, April 14 | Flight to Butuan

Morning transfer to the airport for a domestic flight from Manila to Butuan (flight included). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and preparation for upcoming distributions.
Overnight near Butuan / Duka Bay area.

Day 9 – Wednesday, April 15 | 4th Wheelchair Distribution – Gingoog City

Travel to Gingoog City for our fourth wheelchair distribution, serving families in the region.
Overnight in Duka Bay area.

Day 10 – Thursday, April 16 | 5th Wheelchair Distribution – Talisayan

Our fifth distribution will take place in Talisayan.
Overnight in Duka Bay area.

Day 11 – Friday, April 17 | Travel to Cagayan de Oro & 6th Distribution – Iligan City

Morning travel from Duka Bay to Cagayan de Oro.
In the afternoon, we will conduct our 6th and final wheelchair distribution in Iligan City.
Evening return to hotel near Butuan.

Day 12 – Saturday, April 18 | Return to Manila & International Departures

Morning domestic flight from Butuan to Manila (arrival approximately 10:00 AM).

Participants may schedule their international return flights departing from Manila in the afternoon, allowing sufficient connection time to avoid missed flights.

This marks the conclusion of the Chair the Love Philippines Humanitarian Journey.
